    Default Historical figures...

It would be nice to have historical figures for each factions as generals at the appropirate dates.

    Example:

Joan of Arc offered to French faction at year 1419.

Jean D'Arc is in the game, she appears at the time of her life, and you get her if you win a battle against the english.

    She's only an ancillary though...

Same thing with William Wallace and a couple more I can't remember.

That's just disappointing. It's hilarious that great figures become the petty servants of your generals lol.

Well, both Jean D'Arc and william wallace were servants to the king...

But I agree, I liked it better in MTW where they appeared as non-royal generals.

But that's a bit difficult now, because the only named characters are family members.... But forcing an adoption at a given time is a good idea IMO.

Historical figures do exist as generals... but only at the start of the game. AFAIK the names of the basic starting Kings and Princes are relatively accurate to their historical counterparts. Even the starting Pope is properly named.
