I almost got away with giving my son the middle name of Horatio...almost. After choosing the first name I gave her the options of Byron and Horatio for the middle, let her feel involved since I did all the hard work.Originally Posted by Papewaio

I personally think Horatio Alexander would have been catchy, but I was vetoed.

"The truth is this; the march of Providence so long, that of the individual so brief, that we often only see the ebb of the advancing wave. It is history which teaches us to hope."
I like Byron, sounds regal.
I didn't like Patrick O'Brien. Maybe he is an acquired taste, I dunno. I have yet to try Horatio Hornblower, so I think I'll give that a whack.

Re: Pursuit of happiness
Have you just been dumped?
I ask because it's usually something like that which causes outbursts like this, needless to say I dissagree completely.
The O'brien books had far more historical detail...too much for my taste. The hornblower focused more on the storyline.
@Honestus: Didn't Horatio hate his name in the books? :p
hehe, you know I don't remember that. Good thing she vetoed...plus I just realized that prick on CSI Miami is named Horatio.Originally Posted by Sasaki Kojiro

I may have to steal Horatio Alexander if I ever have a son...
