Thread: Persistent bug - Seleucid Diplomat?

Default Persistent bug - Seleucid Diplomat?

I am having trouble pinning down the bug, no doubt I can get a bug report somehow.

    - With 1.5 and EB, playing as KH, in about 268BC or so, the Seleucids come and offer ceasefire, which I take, and then the game crashes. Restart, same thing.

    - Update to BI 1.6, reinstall EB 0.81a plus EDB patch (plus Thorlof Battle System plus walls update) and play as KH (I like hoplites and cash). in about 268, Seleucid diplomat arrives, offers ceasefire, game crashes.

So it has persisted across reinstalls and so on.

How do I proceed to help with this?

    Assassasinate the diplomats?
I shouldn't have to live in a world where all the good points are horrible ones.

Is he hurt? Everybody asks that. Nobody ever says, 'What a mess! I hope the doctor is not emotionally harmed by having to deal with it.'

Heh, It can often be much harder than that if you don't have a good assasin handy.

Strange. Maybe the exact message that would pop up after that is missing or something. We'll ask on the internal board. Thanks for reporting it like this.

To save your campaign, you could try to teleport the diplomat somewhere using the move_character "<diplomat's name>" <x,y> console command.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

I do NOT answer PM requests for help with EB. Ask in a new help thread in the tech help forum.
