    Default Building Problem

Hi, I'm new to the forums and I'm looking for help.

First I have to say I completely LOVE this mod, it is incredible and I really appreciate all the work of the team. Thanks.

So I have a problem in my Roma campaign. You know every time you conquer a settlement you have to destroy the faction marker so you can do "Regional Pacification" and then build a government. I recently conquered Kart-Hadast and I can't seem to find the marker in the list below, I can't scroll so I can't find the marker. I know it is there but it just doesn't appear. Anyone have a solution other than destroying a number of buildings until it appears? Thanks in advance.

Why can't you scroll? If the number of buildings is more than the first screen can hold an arrow should appear which you click on and which will show you the rest of the buildings.

It should be one of the first buildings on the list. Unless you had conquered it, then lost it, then reconquered it...

When you mean you can't scroll, you mean the settlement has more than 32 (or whatever) buildings and you can't scroll past the second screen? If that is the case, yes that sucks. Vanilla never had nearly a full list so the thought of making the list scroll more was hardcoded. In many cases, especially in places where multiple cultures have held a settlement, the list is actually more than full. I have never found a way to get around this. I usually destroy a few buildings (usually the blacksmith & garrison buildings(enemy gov. & MICs should already be destroyed)(I also do away with villa buildings - bad for newly conquered areas anyways)) and then I tear down the buildings that are hidden that I wanted destroyed. The next turn, when the pacification building is built, I cheat to create the buildings I tore down to the previous level they were. (This is a slight cheat because the buildings no longer cause culture problems.)

EDIT: Seems like every answer here is for a different problem...
What is the exact problem? You can't scroll the un-built buildings? You can't scroll past one set of buildings currently in the settlement? You can't scroll past two screens of buildings currently in the settlement? The pacification isn't available for building? You can build a pacification even though there already is one? You can't build a pacification even though this is none?

Yeah I've found this problem ever since vanilla. I usually click the "arrow down" button like a mad-man and then i click and drag (down) the "progress cirlcle" and it's fine after that. Not a very tidy method but it works for me (eventually)

    Hi and welcome MindLich,
Yep MindLich, I, sadly, know the problem. I, however, often resolve it by destroying the enemy government buildings completely and that, strangely enough, opens up the regional pacification building for me to implement. It's an odd way of doing it, yet, perhaps, it could aid you to solve the problem. Good luck, cheers!

I thought were were _supposed_ to destroy rival government buildings...
