Default The SW corner of the world

Has anyone ever reached there yet? It is a little settlement with 3 salt mines, I'm in need of more money in my Carthage campaign, so I sent in a spy to see what type of rebel units are in the setlement, but it seems like a huge maze, my spy turned into an old man and died before he could reach it.

AFAIK: you can't even get there without having to 'cheat'.

Heh, I sent my starting Diplomat on an exploration from campaign start.
He started on mainland Greece, journeyed to Seleucia via Pontus & Media, circumscribed Arabia, travelled the length of the Nile then back up the western coast of the Red Sea, traversed along the north coast of Africa then headed south.
In the deep desert, he has travailed back & forth using the 'right hand rule' of maze solving.
He has pretty much explored the whole area & has proven the SW corner inaccessible.
Now he is getting old & currently heading back to Egypt along what I'm pretty sure is the northern border of the maze.
Could probably just head north anywhere to get back to the coast but I now want to find the eastern border of the labyrinthe.

I'll post a screenie of the minimap when I get home.
maybe those guys should be doing something more useful...

Your diplomat is the most learned geographer in the known world.

Free trait I came up with, especially for EB!

    Dang, oh well.

Poor spy, spending half his life in solitary.

Behold the amazing voyage of Odysseus Kalabrios!

I'm not doing justice to the complexity of the maze because I can't remember it

Wish I could see it but imageshack and my net have declared war on each other and I can't get them to sign a ceasefire.

Edit: finally image shack works for once :) cool pic

I think the OP was talking about Terhazza instead; refer to the EB map and look at the southwestern most corner.

Yes but you can't get there.

Odysseus just happened to be currently standing next to Garama when I took the pic, he is on his way back towards the upper nile.

Sorry if this was not clear, I wasn't intending to give the impression he is standing next to that city in the SW corner.
