    download

    fix to 0.31 http://files.filefront.com/Fix_to_TB.../fileinfo.html
    1. Install a fresh copy of RTW and BI, patch it to 1.6.
    2. Install EB
    3. EB with BI:
    - Make a shortcut with a targetline:
    "your install folder\RomeTW-BI.exe" -mod:eb -nm -show_err
    - make a copy of
    your install folder\eb\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaiagn
    and rename that copy to barbarian_invasion (you should now have two folders in that location)
    -delete
    your install folder\eb\data\world\maps\base\map.rwm and from Bi\data\world\maps\base and Data\world\maps\base
    4.Unzip the file
    5. Copy from TBS EB folder and copy into your Rome directory, overwrite all files.(this version with new EDU)
    6.Delete map.rwm from RTW\Data\world\maps\base and from BI\Data\world\maps\base
    8. Play from Provincial Campaign or EB Campaign or CB

    What is Thorlof Battle System (TBS):
    -You can a play in EB with BI
    -16 New units from King Luis Assurbanipal































    - first cohorts
    -Sinuhet with Darth formation Ai in one with adjust(my) to EB with Bi
    - Shield wall, schiltrom , units can swim, warcry adds
    -change some units to berserker (holy freze units)
    -some new formation (my)
    -new battle system
    -night battles
    -ctd fix
    - and some small change
    Next
    -more change in old formation
    -new formation
    -new units (mayby)
    -add units to Colony (mayby)
    -and more

    Could we get some info on the new units?

    Edit: Okay I see there are lot of new greek hoplites. Just curious: are they originally meant for AE 3.0 (on which we are still eagerly waiting)?

    AE 3.0 ? i dont now this units from King Luis Assurbanipal . He work with another units , which added to this mod (I hope)

    Well Im pretty sure he said theyd be included in 3.o a few months ago. But as the mod still isnt out, he probably now let EB use them.

    Wouldn't it be better if you guys would join the EB, because your mod has grown pretty complex, I'm only using the formations files in it, I mean berserk Gaesatae are just too much they are tough in EB because they don't have the BI ability of berserk and if you add it they just become to strong the same thing for shield wall hoplites that become completely unmovable, a bit unrealistic I'd say kinda like a rock, you'd have to tweak the units in order for the abilities to not totally imbalance the game.

    I working to balance my mod, but this is hard job.

    Change :
    -new behave in battle field
    -little up defends
    -powerfull charge heavy cavalry
    -and small other change

    Im concerned about any possible imbalance though... but then again I'll just try this out because of the SEX in it.

    I working to balance units.New fix mayby in this week . Next version with new units, true colony(recruit units) and more change , hm i dont now mayby after holiday.

    question for this mod. How can I change the global building time of the units, because you use the 0 time and, though I am mad about your units, I cannot stand the 0 time, because, my opinion, makes the AI drain his citiies in order to comply to the demands of expansion and defending. That will force Ai not to progress anymore and to enter in huge debt.

    Chnge in EB/Data/export_descr_unit in stat_cost 0 to 1 in first place.

    to change it for each unit is a killer... I asked you about a global change, because I suppose you didn't change the numbers for each unit. There are around 300 units as I recall it

    Why would changing this yourself be hard? All you have to do is open the EDU up in notepad and use the replace command. Just copy the line "stat_cost 0" (include the spaces)and put it in the 'Find what:' box and put the text "stat_cost 1" in the 'Replace with:' box and press the 'Replace all' button. This should revert all units with the zero recruit time bact to the one turn.

    i have a quick question, i would like to use your units for my EB game. im not sure what they change and if they are balanced for EB. likewise i use RTW for EB and not BI, is this compatible?

    Not, this is for eb with bi. But mayby this week or next - new verrsion. For BI and RTW.

    Oh dear god, I can't wait for the next version, new units for the Sabaens! Best thing ever!
    I see this mod grows very big and complicated. I personally think it would be good if this is included in EB as standard, because it adds a lot of "feeling". Don't forget the new units. And the night battles. New units anyone? And Darth's formations. Did I mention new units?

    Hmm, why isn't this already integrated with EB? These are some of the most amazing units I've ever seen, are they historical accurate?

    i just have a couple of questions.

    firstly the link at the top of this page (the first one not the fix) is that the current version? im under the impression that this version contains the hotfix as well right?

    secondly, after installing the mod (via the first link only) are all units balanced correctly for EB? my hoplites just seem alittle tough.

    Not, but in few day I relase new version with 1/10 scale. 1 strategiai sarissoforoi (1500-1600men)-160, 1 Chiliarchiai hoplits,psiloi,and other hellenistic infantry -(1000) 100. Ile (300-500)-48 horsmen. Romans hastati, princeps-120(1200 in early legion) triari - 60(600) cohort postmarian- 48(480) first cohort-80(800), alae- 48(400-500) horsmen, ala miliariae-100(1000) socii, auxiliare. )Others 100-200 in infantry, 48-100 horse.
    City mod is added but with my change(thanx MarcusAureliusAntoninus to permision).Added new battle maplighting by Goth(thanx to permision).
    Some units only in CB (hoplits from IV-V) and new units in campaign(and cb ).and more and more(phalanx is stabil)
