    Default Getai issues

    Also posted this at TWC...

    - no description for the Mines, all levels
    - no description, other than "Strategy", for the local MIC's
    - mixed description for the Drapanai
    - the Getai never move on their own. Very sad. They should be one of the important players, but in 20 years they do not take any new cities
    - I get constant CTD's on the Eleutheroi turn, especially around Singidunum and Tylis (not restricted to). I get over them by restarting the game, reloading, reactivating the script... only to get another one 2 -3 turns after that.

The Getai sometimes become powerful, sometimes stagnate. Same goes for Sweboz.

Have you tried Kull's improved rebellion CTD fix? If not, try it out. If it makes no difference, you can also try the nerfed EDCT file I posted on the Hayasdan CTD thread, but it should be used sparingly.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

Mines, we'll have to get to that, they may have been overlooked.

The local MICs should have descriptions, I wrote them. Do other people have this problem?

The Drapanai problem has already been caught.

There are a few tweaks we're working on to make the Getai more expansive. But they really shouldn't be "one of the important players" in the first 20 years of the game.

Mines and MICs are missing their descriptions in my campaigns aswell.

Oh, referring to the importance of the getai in the early years:
In my campaigns they usually do nothing the first... dunno.. 50 years and then get going.
The other variant is, that they capture one or two settlements right away and stagnate after that or they get steam rolled in the first 20 years.

Edit: Nevertheless, they are a whole lot of fun to play!
Just wanted to make this clear
