    Hello friends..

    My Q. is In the 1.0 of rtw all you had to do is go into export_descr somethign buildings and delite the hidden resources and you can make them anywhere, However I seen a number of Hidden_resource behind every entery? Im alittle confused i dont want to touch a thing untill someone say something..

    Please let me know how i can build them in every province..

    It would be easy to do this i guess but someone usely tells people who ask editing questions to go to the org..But there is no text around in mods like yours so it would be impossible to go off the first stage of the game before it was ever modded is also very impossible..so can someone be kind and tell me if Deliteing the Hidden resource line behind the unit still works..and also IS it still possible to copy and paste units into lower barrecks i did this in the stright game so i could make better units from the start..

    Units?
    To make them available everywhere, just remove all of the hidden resources. So that the "{ faction, }" is the end of the line. That type and level of barracks will then be able to build that unit everywhere. (Might as well delete additional entries for that unit too.)

    Keep a backup of the edb.txt file also before you start tinkering with it - you'll be glad you did.

    Yes i'm glad i did..becouse after editing the desired files and when i started the game up it crashed..i've done this with the stright game witih no problems not real sure what happend, So i just delited the old folder and put the other one back..ill do it again and try once more..

    Ok i'm kinda upset here I made a back up so if anything gos wrong i can fix it thats not the problem..But i delite the Hidden resource after every unit So i cannot figure OUt why it still crashes!! i was very careful not to delite anything (But) the hidden resource all of it there are like 4 differnt lines behind every units saying hidden resource and some numbers etc..So please tell me why its doing this!!!???? I wan't tomake some of the iberian units all over i get tired of the same old boring celtic units..so this is why..so please help!

    Just make then entry that looks like this:
    Code:
                    recruit "celtic infantry gaeroas" 0 requires factions { gauls, scythia, britons, } and hidden_resource NW and hidden_resource D and hidden_resource n1 and hidden_resource y2 and hidden_resource n4 and hidden_resource y8
    look like this:

                    recruit "celtic infantry gaeroas" 0 requires factions { gauls, scythia, britons, }

    I did..I delited everything after that excpet the {factions name} and nouthing after it and it still crashed..that was before i posted the second time.

    I.E.

    recruit "celtic infantry gaeroas" 0 requires factions { spain, }

    This is what it looked like but i did that for every single unit under spain..in every barricks and it crashes the seocnd time i was very careful not to delite anything ealse. and yet it dose not work

    Did you delete all the other entries for that unit in that building? I don't think that would cause a crash, but who knows...

    Not sure what you maen? If you mean if i delited all the hidden resource for spain then yes. But i left the other factions alone..so i donno? should i have spent all 2 days deliteing hidden from every unit in the file lmfao you guys surely over complicated the text files now its hard to edit them with out screwing up..i'm confizzled

    No, I mean there are about 50 entries for each unit in each building. On separate lines.

    recruit "celtic infantry gaeroas" 0 requires factions { spain, } and hidden_resource A etc
    recruit "celtic infantry gaeroas" 0 requires factions { spain, } and hidden_resource B etc
    recruit "celtic infantry gaeroas" 0 requires factions { spain, } and hidden_resource C etc
    recruit "celtic infantry gaeroas" 0 requires factions { spain, } and hidden_resource D etc
