Thread: mod question

    Default mod question

Is really cool all those mods that people make BUT in order to run them, you have to click on the specific file. Is that mean that when you run the game you get to use only one specific mod or they all work at the same time?. If you doble click on the desktop icon after using it for the first time, do u get to see it again or you have to continue double clicking on that file to kick it on?

Drawing on my limited mod experience, i belive that there are two ways that a mod can be packaged.

    1) Just the files - ie. if you run using the shortcut provided with --io file first the mod will always be on
    2) As a mod, using the mod directory structure - each mod has its own shortcut with its own switch (preferred method)

Reading the readme of the mod in question is probably your best bet

You will always need to use the mod icon, and unless you combine the mods yourself they will work seperately.
