Thanks again. I don't really want to fiddle with the game files. I think the developers should fix this. That's what I meant when I said they're joking... I meant the devs. If they're reading this, you seriously screwed this up in my opinion. Here's why... despite the fact that inquisitors can wipe out your entire family (I'd guess I've lost eight at least so far) they can also attack character who are OUT AT SEE IN BOATS, and for the most part IGNORE HERETICS. Now, explain why an inquisitor would go around killing preists and totally ignore heretics. Or if they do occasionally try one, he gets off. That's right... my priests are found guilty, and heretics get off.
There are four inquisitors in England. I had to totally evacuate my entire family to keep them from being killed. Now they just bump off priests at the rate of one a turn. Is this really what you had in mind?
On the up side, I've found bribing the pope works wonders for my standing, but it's done nothing to budge the inquisitors.
