Default Punic Voicemod: Voice Actor needed!

The Punic voicemod is ready for recording, however one thing is missing: The voice!

If anyone think they can handle it and lend their voice for Punic commands and unit responses, then apply here.

    However, some basic info:

We would prefer any applicant to preferably speak with a Hebrew or Syraic Arabic speech, as these are the languages most related to Punic.
Also should you be chosen you will have to record yourself and also comply with any instructions given by our Audio Dictator.

If it comes down to it and you guys can't find anybody else I'm willing to help. My father is Egyptian and naturally speak Arabic - so while not the same I can get some help on accent - although, I think my dad is familiar with people who are Lebanese, who could maybe help me.

Like I said, if you find no else I am willing to help.

If you don't mind me asking, what is the current state of the proto-germanic voicemod?

If you're Chinese, yet talk Hebrew or Syraic Arabic we would hear your voice.
Reason we want someone who speaks one of those two languages, is because it's closest to Punic and would require less amount to learn correct pronunciation.

"In the starting pit" you can say. We need someone to write a Proto-germanic translation guide and the commands. Bascially we need someone with knowledge of Proto-Germanic.

    What ponts? Who are they?

Because phoenician(and it's punic dialect) is to hebrew like let's say russian to ukrainian or danish to norwegian.
As for the voicemod, that's just AWESOME, finally!!! Exellent job, EB team. I wish I could help, but I guess female voice is not too suitable for giving orders

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he is referring to Pontus.

As to my ability to do the voicemod, unless you want an English/Australian accent, who can only read/write English... then I guess I am your man.

The punic voicemod is mostly for Carthage. Will Sabyn (or how the hell it is spelled) use it, at least as a placeholder?

Punic voicemod. Punic was the language the Carthaginians spoke.

The Pontic rulers were Iranians yeah, but they will use Greek voicemod for general orders due to the heavy hellenism. Of course their Eastern units will be using Pahlavi voicemod, which Persian Cataphract should be writing up translation guide for.

Good luck with this viocemod I can't wait to hear Karthago speak something other than Greek.

My arabic pronounciation is very good, as my Syrian teacher used to tell me; I only know Classical Arabic (not perfectly) and I have largely learnt it from reading (and listening to) the Qur'an in the original. I have also dabbled with Biblical Hebrew, but didn't go far, it will have to wait for a couple of years.

So, just let me know if you consider me. :)
