    Default Getai Issues

I just had a few questions about the Getai:

Do they not get schools or any sort of council that can help benefit the family members?

    No paved roads?

Where do you recruit Thrakian Peltasts? I realize they are supposed to be a regional unit but what is the requirement for recruiting these from the regional barracks?

    - Same question with Bastarnae - I conquered their province and now have a level 3 regional barracks and can still build nothing

    Hello Soibean.

    - No, they don't get any schools. There is no evidence that they even had some sort of proper education like the Greeks had, even in the time of Burebista (mentioned by Strabo), who subdued the Greek colonies on the bank of the Pontos Euxeinos (Black Sea)

    - Yes, no paved roads. Sorry!

    - Thraikian Peltasts can only be recruited as mercenaries as far as I know, when it comes to the Getai.

    - That's weird. This might be a recruitment error. I'll check about this.

    Hope it helped you.

The getai don't get a special Bastarnae unit, only the germans do. You can recruit thracian peltasts in the 4 proivences to the south of your starting city.
I shouldn't have to live in a world where all the good points are horrible ones.

Would Thracian Peltast be considered a regional or a factional unit for the Getae?

I think they have to be regional because Ive built atleast a level 2 faction barracks in the southern provinces and level 3 holds the same units as the others.
    I could be wrong though.

Im surprised over the bastarnae though, shouldnt they recruitable as a regional unit from that province?

The Drapanai and Bastarnae share a model, which probably has something to do with it. IIRC the Getai recruit Thrakioi Peltastai through their factional MICs though, at level 4 or so. I seem to recall the assorted Thracians - Peltastai, those javelin cav guys, and Prodromoi - were spread out somewhat counter-intuitively between their factional and Regional MIC in the relveant provinces; I'd really recommed quicksaving and using the add_money and process_cq [Settlement name] cheats to figure it out, then reloading the save.

Apparently His Pastaness is to be worshipped in full pirate regalia. The decline in worldwide pirate population over the past 200 years directly corresponds with the increase in global temperature. Here is a graph to illustrate the point."
