Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.
A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?
Wow, you guys are making me want to reinstall AvP2- what an awesome game. I know that I enjoyed the single-player, but all of my fondest memories are from multiplayer. All the different game modes, combined with the different races made for such interesting gameplay- like the mode where the aliens started out as face-huggers and had to latch onto an enemy "host" and the host they targetted determined the kind of alien they burst out as.![]()
As to Preds, their weakness- in addition to the view modes -was usually numbers. In a good MP aliens vs preds game, it wasn't unusual to see 2-1 or 3-1 odds for the predators.

I miss Aliens Online. It had craptastic graphics (slightly worse than the original DOOM), but it was SO fun! I remember when I finally made Queen stage, starting out as a lowly facehugger.
