    Default More balanced than RTW?

I feel that this game is more balanced than RTW. In RTW, you have basically 4 factions that are good, and the rest are on lower tiers. You got Romans, Carthaginians, Egyptians and Seluccid. Then everyone else kinda sucks. In this game, every faction is playable and able to be in contention with everyone. I feel that the developer did a good job on this.

I agree. I believe that every faction if used properly in M2TW is as good as another. In RTW the Roman factions were clearly uber compared to the others.

I agree aswell, mainly because each faction starts off with nearly the same type of units. Each has their own spear and archer militias along with cheap calvary and heavy. In RTW the Roman legions were too good. I recall playing as the selecuids and post- Marian Reform, my hoplites had no chance and silver shield legionarres were a little too costy.

I agree also, I love this game. I love the fact that any faction can beat down on anyone if proper skill and planning are involved. I only tried RTW when I bought it at Goodwill when I was looking for a fishtank (Why else would I go there.) and even Multiplaying was contented with those few factions only.

Now, if everyone will stop their bitch sessions about the MINOR bugs and enjoy this game, the better off we will all be. I have not seen a game that comes even this close to as much fun as I can enjoy in a game, bugs and all.

Work-Still hate it but I appreciate having it more now.
Girlfriend - ? - looks like I am helping Nga now. Miss sex though.
Responsibilities, Too many bills to too little money
    Reality - (Censored)
Kids - My son is improving a little bit each day, still far behind but I may have more kids in the future.
MTW - Kingdoms installed but...Urggg, too soon.
    ----------------
Conclusion, Life is worth Living now.

Macedonians and Greeks certainley weren't that weak as they had an easy chance to conquer the balkan penninsula quickly guaranteeing economic superiority allowing them do a quick invasion of Italy pre marius

prefer RTW easier to follow and play and if used correctly the other factions will win

RTW had more variation in the type of units, though. M2TW has a lot of units that are almost the same as others in the same faction, but not exactly. I don't think that adds much to the gameplay. It just confuses me whether I should train Feudal Knights, Broken Lances or a Famiglia Ducale...
    Nevertheless, I love both games.
