Hello all. Im new to this community but I have been playing around with RTW and modding for some time. Reading your post i came up with this idea: please keep in mind that all is ypothetical, nothing of what i say has anything to do with real facts because if that was the case all im saying would be not legal. Please read and try to follow me on this.
What would you say if someone had this crazy idea to do a Marvel Comics mod? Of course this is not that case because if someone wanted to do such a mod he or she should have permission by marvel headquarters and i havent contacted Marvel yet. In case i do in the future and receive permission all goes well. If not...well what if this mod would be a non commercial and not public mod? What if it never went public and stayed a project between the members of the mod. Then it wouldnt be illegal i believe, right? Anyway, what if i ypothetically told you that the gameplay of this mod could be that for example Beyonder came to Earth and challenged the most powerful beings to one more crossover. Well what if someone told you that he can model all those units, the buildings and more. In this ypothetical situation (always) would you help him? Would you ypothetically assist with the creation of new animations, the scripting, the map (which could ypothetically be completely fictional) and the general gameplay? What if that someone made a mod for B.I. but keeping in mind that M2TW may be modable soon and matters of transferring this mod to M2TW should be taken under consideration?
What would you say to some guy ypothetically asking you about sth like that?
