Ive decided since I love this game so much to order the Collectors Edition. Does anyone else have it and is it worth it?

I'm not sure what edition I own, but it came with the game, the full soundtrack to the game on CD, and a 2 DVD set of the History Channel's documentary The Crusades. A very good deal, especially when you consider that it cost the same as the normal version!

Yep, that's exactly what I have except they substituted the Making Of documentary for the Crusades documentary. It's a good package and that's a decent price.

    Are you sure, TinCow?

I've got the fancy release, too. (It was a limited edition thing with map, tech tree poster, soundtrack, and groovy History Channel documentary), but it sure doesn't have artcards and a miniature.

Quickening is getting a larger Box 'o Stuff(tm) than we did.

I got the collectors edition against my will (that's all anyone had when I went to buy it) and all I got was the soundtrack, and the map, no documantary :(

It was part of the Gold Code event. 1 staff and 1 member from each TW fansite(.com, .org, TWC RTWH) got to go to the event at SEGA HQ Europe, and we all got a free Collectors edition from the devs.

Got it, as it costed exactly the same as the normal version so.
Until I've heard that the price was the same I was rather displeased actually (got in in christmas present).

Says how much I care about collectors edition doesn't it?
We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

It was a deal from Gamestop when M2TW first came out. I made a thread about it at the time.

I got the Walmart specil edition lol. It had the game, making of DVD, map, and tech tree. It was the only one they had and the wrapping had a sticker on the back that it was exclusive to Walmart.

I got the Collector's Edition even cheaper than the normal (game-only) version :)

MTW2 was to be released on a Friday here IIRC correctly, and I saw the Collector's Edition (game, making-of DVD, map, tech tree, latinkon miniature, art cards and soundtrack) in a store on Thursday, for 47 Euros.
The game-only version was 50-55 Euros in all stores :)

Well my collectors edition arrived today. It's all very nice but the first DvD is scratched and will not install the game

So I'll have to return it and get a replacement. Thank God I have a regular copy so Im not going without.

    Annoying.
