Cannot Run Modded Replays

I am running a SP campaign as Mongols using Regnum Dei. I achieved victory but continued playing as I would like to see the Invasion Force arrive. I fought a tremendous battle against Denmark which involved my Khan and I decided to save the replay because it was a wonderful display of the use of HA to defeat an army of Chivalric, Frankish and Crusader Knights and their Crusader Sergeant infantry. Khan Araboge deployed at the crest of a small ridge with his entourage of Heavy cav and Khan's Guard and watched his 13 units of HA as they destroyed the Danish army and the reinforcements that arrived.
I renamed the Temp .rpy file and sent it to the replay folder, then I restarted the game to sit back and watch it.
When loading the replay I had a nice message reading.....

Error, this replay was made using a different version of the game.

So does this mean that only vanilla replays will run? It seems very odd to me that you can fight the battle yet cannot run the replay of the same battle

I'm not sure about your issue, but there are a lot of issues with replays (some even show the wrong battle) and you may have just discovered another

If you click on the tick bow it will still play, it's just a warning, you've probably used the vanillia M2TW shortcut, rather than the Mod one too. Use that instead as it will help.

Regnum Dei changes just 4 campaign files, there are no changes to unit skins or stats and as it only applies to SP campaign, I can still run normal Custom or MP battles. This is a strange one.

Yes the battles sometimes play back completely wrong, very frustrating since it always seems to be the best ones that get screwed.

That IS weird as i've run 2 Vanillia replays under my ProblemFixer V1.14BETA without issues and that includes a LOT of changes to unit stats. Strange...

I'm having the same problem. If it helps any, I am using Problem Fixer 1.13 and tried using both versions of the game (Vanilla) to run the replay but with no success.

Has anyone been able to play replays after v1.1?
