New to EB

hello all ! I am new to EB i just downloaded ver.81 the other night. I have been playing and it a big challenge over RTW. I just want to know where I can recruit my legionary cohorts? I am restricted to italy with type I govs or can I recruit in type II and III govs also? I am talking about the Marian Reforms not Augustan.

Marians legionaires can be built in all type II gov areas, but only after the EB marian reforms (ie not the vanilla reforms), which happen in about 172BCE. Check the faq for more info.

I tried it out for the polybian reforms and it worked great! but i cant get it to work for the mairan reforms any suggestions?

You need the character requirement for the Marian Reforms. See FAQ.
