strange problem

i installed 1.3, then 1.5 then eb mod. when i double click on my europa barbarorum icon it appears to start loading the game. it then goes to a screen (that i think it is supposed to go to) that looks like this

instead of going past this screen it just stays like that. and i have waited a long time on it. can some one tell me what is wrong?? now i cant even play the original rome total war.

well 20mins to 30mins. it also made a weird sound and my cursor pops up. but i cant do anything and i have to hit alt F4 to exit.

Did you install EB with the 0.81a full installer, or..? Anyhow, re-install.

A cursor popping up could be related to an error message thats behind the opening screen. If you run a 2nd program (Internet Explorer for instance), you can try to alt+tab to the other program and then back, to see if you can get to that message (if that is the problem).

But like Thaatu says, reinstall is probably best.
