Default wow, what a stunning mod

in my short first run through i learned a few things. this game is HARD, dont F with rebels and naked men running around killing things can be quite the chuckle (i had to call my GF over to see it, she didnt appear as amused as me)

i cant see how i can win this, i have no money and the rebels are godly powerful, but i am eager for the challenge...i rerad some guides...didnt help much

what you guys did was amazing and one can only hope you will someday put your energies to making M2 playable

Were troubled, and the full-maned horses whirled
The chariots backward, knowing griefs at hand...

ya this mod is amazing. the aren't just "rebels" like in vanilla, they are actual independent, strong nations.

you won't laugh much when you find out the naked fanatics have multiple hitpoints, super unbreakable moral, and high running speed. they will fight til the last man completely surrounded, while devastating your army.

Yeah in every other mod you send heavy cavarly on the weedy nunists. But in EB there 6 ft tall and built like a brick, and will phyically tear your rider off the horse and insert him in the horse with his bare hands.

Theres a trick to them. As with every unit, you just need to find the right counter. In the case of Gaesatae, the counter is slingers. Get a few units of decent slingers (a few chevrons helps massively) and target the nudists, preferably from their right or their behind, and you will wreak carnage upon them... I imagine that no matter what the drugs you're on, a stone travelling at over 100 mph on bare flesh (not to mention if the slinger is really good, and can cherry-pick his target, so to speak) is going to hurt...

Failing that, heavy cavalry are still pretty effective against them, on account of not getting scared by them. Just dont get bogged down in melee with them, and they are not too bad.

A proper Pahlavân army should never bump into the issues of other armies when it comes to the Tindanotae/Gaesatae, let horse archers soften them up for a bit, call them off, then get the heavy cavalry to charge through their lines. A single unit of Grivpanvar or Zradha Pahlavans should never lose against the nudists when used properly, and indeed the key to winning is to never get bogged down into melee.

hmm they were easy for me, i was just making a custom battle and saw "wild men" or some such, saw they had 2 hitpoints and thought they would be interesting in the AI army i planned to fight

i was greece or whatever its called here, 1 unit of spartans sent them running like girls head to head, when the naked guys ran i still had like 41 spartans left, this on medium setting

was a long fight though, most of my losses came when they disengaged and threw javies while my spartans refused to charge after them cuz 1 naked guy was in between them and the rest, so obviously all 50 spartans felt compelled to stop and kill that 1 guy
