should i delete map.rwm

this is my first version of europa barbarorum(8.1a) and i am on a campaign, i have had no ctd's yet or anything like that and im playing as romans on turn 242, i read that if i delete rwm now my files may be synced up, but i shouldn't have to delete it should i? as i really dont want to, but i will if i have to.

If I understood correctly, 0.81a automatically installs a suitable map.rwm, so you should not delete it. Maybe, I don't know...
