Hello
The best part about this game, and what makes it so great,
is that you could write books about stuff that happens in the game.
I'm sure that everybody had it's moments and could talk about it.
Even if I'm a TW-fan since Shogun, and played all games in the series (expansions included) the whole way trough,
it's nothing compared with what I experience in Med2.
For instance, my favorite moment (or story) is that of Guillemont the Chivalrous.
I started the game with England, and I sent my princess to a french general in Angers.
His name was Guillemont De Lyon, he married the princess and he emmediatly converted to England.
Then the Pope called for a Crusade to Jerusalem.
I only trusted Guillemont for this mission because of his high loyalty. Not only that, but he had great stats too.
He landed with his massive army (mostly consisting of those religious freaks with capes and little sticks) in Acre,
conquered it and also Jerusalem. It was quite easy and he was emmediatly renamed to Guillemont The Crusader.
After that I went to conquer the surrounding settlements like Gaza, Damascus, Antioch etc.
Damascus failed and I couldn't leave my massive army from Jerusalem 'cause it could trigger riots.
And Damascus had a fully filled army flag so it wasn't going to be easy to get under control (I prefer sacking it).
So I took Guillemont The Chivalrous to Alepo, a low defended settlement, easy to take, the odds were
greatly in my favor.
The enemy was outnumbered. They only had light armored soldiers and archers.
I was winning the battle. I sent Guillemont to finish the job. Then the unthinkable happened ...
he was slain by a bunch of exhausted peasants with low morale.![]()
I must admit that it was a little shock to me. My greatest general still, killed by peasants.
Offcourse I took revenge, about a 100 years later I exterminated the people of Alepo and Damascus, taking
over those settlements under de command of King Aelfgar the Dreadful, the worst king you can possibly imagine.
He has all the worst retinues and stats there must be in this game, he likes men, he drinks, he gambles,
he kills everyone who says something he doesn't agree with, has penalties against assassination attempts, etc.
And know he has the black death and still won't die. Offcourse his son, Prince Jhon, who looked really promising,
he did die, even tough i kept him safe in London.

So, what were your great experiences in this game?
