Default Pretend I deleted all the comments... would my game speed up?

This is probably a stupid idea, but whatever, here goes...

Let us pretend I went through every EB text file and deleted the comments, (marked at the start of some lines with ;), would the game load and run faster, or would this be a huge waste of time?

Hmm, a quick look shows 7 EB .txt files over 1MB.
For the 10.5MB EDB.txt the vast majority of that file is actual used code.
The 7.2MB traits text file has a lot more commented code but its still only about 10-15% of the thing thats comments with the rest being live code.
The background script file seems to be almost all live code too.

So since there is actually not much data in comments that can be removed, the potential to improve speed this way essentially doesn't exist.

what kind of troubles are you experiencing, my comp is almost 5 years old and I am running everything in max and the game is running like a charm.

I have 512 ram and struggling to load, but I changed the page file to be pretty huge and it helps.

Oh my game runs fine, but no one likes even a five second load time...

Ram is cheap. You need at least another 512.

For that comment I'm going to curse your soul and add 5 seconds to your loading time!
