Scrubs <- Don't know much about hospital lingo but this is hilarious
The Daily Show <- Great funny pun on politics
Colbert Report <- Hahah completely random
Dirty Jobs <- Great host and really Dirty Jobs
Deadliest Catch <- Just wow
Robot Chicken <- Very funny show by Seth Green and some other guy
Samurai Champloo <- Great action packed anime with good humor. Greaterkhaan, why did it end?

I can only imagine that they ran out of ideas, I would think it's too good of a show to lose funding. Too bad, its a pity they couldn't go longer. Oh, and I think that Robot Chicken is more random than Colbert, that whole show is just random clips of dolls, action figures, and puppets.Originally Posted by Decker

No way! That sucks. It was awesome, I still like watching the re-runs anyways, they are pretty funny. And you are right about Robot Chicken. Colbert had a random-like episode tonight I and I couldn't help mentioning it either. BTW, does Robot Chicken have another season or did I miss it already?Originally Posted by greaterkhaan

Haven't really seen much of Bebop, I didn't really watch adult swim until it was just finishing its run, although I've heard its a very good show. Occasionally I've also tried watching Bleach and Inuyasha, though I haven't really followed either too closely. Ichigo, I'm assuming you're a Bleach fan, right?

Yea it's sad it was short. Bleach is alright, I just can only catch it here and there sadly. BTW, which ones is about those spirit warrior people? The one with the guy and the really big sword? It's kinda along the same lines as Samurai Champloo.

Yeah I am. I prefer the subbed version of the show over the dubbed version on Adult Swim. I used to watch Inuyasha, but it got kinda old I still watch it occasionally though. I usually only watch Adult Swim on Saturday nights late cause I like Bleach, Blood+, Eureka 7, etc. I'm not a big fan of Robot Chicken and the other stuff that comes on Sunday, and throughout the week. I do watch a lot of anime on YouTube too.Originally Posted by greaterkhaan

I believe that could also be a reference to Inuyasha, he has an even bigger sword than Ichigo. Inuyasha also deals with spirits, though not on the level of Bleach. Plus, aren't the "demons" from the show actually more like spirits of some kind? I heard that demon wasn't a very good translation for the show. Just to be sure, Decker, does the guy you're referring to have spiky blonde hair or long, silver hair? That would be the dead giveaway.Originally Posted by Ichigo

No it's Bleach. I used to watch Inuyasha until I got bored of it, about 2 years ago. Now it's all those shows on Saturday, and I used to watch Afro Samurai till it ended, it was pretty cool until about the last episode, that was weird.Originally Posted by greaterkhaan

I don't watch that much TV, I'll watch decent cartoons or comedy/satire when they're on but not religiously.
The only two shows I've been actively following have already been discussed in this thread, both aired their season finales on Sunday: Rome and Battlestar Galactica.
The second series of Rome was great overall but I found the last episode a little disappointing even though it did some clever things (I was hoping for more action...) I also hoped they'd skip on even a couple of years to show the "official" birth of the Roman Empire (when Octavian becomes Augustus) but anyway. It was a good series even with it's historical liberties, anyone know if there are any more planned? (it would surprise me as in comparison to the period depicted, very little epic drama occurs for the next 30 odd-years)
The Battlestar finale was pretty insane. The first part was strange enough, but the second was really something. I was disappointed initially that they didn't deal with some of the plot threads I thought had been set up, but after watching it again I really liked it. The scenes with the music were actually pretty disturbing, though I did give a momentarywhen I realised what song it actually was. Sadly it hasn't been rating so hot so it looks like the next season will be the last, I hope it'll bring the story to a satisfying conclusion.

Yeah, my brain was reeling the better part of the season finale -- I kept saying "Woah!!" and "WTF??!" to myself.Originally Posted by Antagonist

It is a pity that the ratings have dropped so much, though. I'm puzzled by it, as I think the show has only gotten better with time. I'm much more enthralled with the show now than when I first started watching it, when I was watching it only reluctantly (and then only at my then-roommate's behest, as he insisted I would like it).

Interestingly I have heard (can't confirm) that BSG has been consistently among the most popular shows on iTunes and also illegally on other internet sources, raising the question of the unrepresented audiences on the internet. They're almost irrelvant though since it's the ratings, and the potential advertisment viewership they represent, that makes the difference.
I wonder whether Caprica, the intended spin-off "sci-fi drama" set before the first Cylon War in Caprica City, will ever get on the air? It struck me as an interesting idea.

Since there's nothing on I really like anymore, I'm seriously considering buying the entire West Wing series, all six seasons for $300. Loved that show.
Me and Mrs. Beirut always watched it together, sitting together on the couch with our glasses of wine like a couple of old farts. It was the only show we both enjoyed. I'd like to get the series and watch it from the first episode with her, since we only got into it after a few seasons. Maybe two episodes every Sunday night. (And no commercials.)
Actually, there is one show I watch religiously - The Weather Channel. Since I work outside I'm always interested in the weather. I can sit there with a beer and watch the temperature change for an hour. I hum the weather channel tune while I'm puttering around the house. Drives her nuts.
