Give_trait issue

OK, so I've been using the heck out of Give_trait, in that I don't think starts should be THAT few and far between. A problem arises when one of my generals conquers something. When they become Germanorum" or "Africanus" the give_trait function doesn't work anymore with the new name. And I don't know how to look up what their old name was.

Any pointers?

Stop cheating :p No, I don't know the automated trait system contradicts itself I understand it's use. As to an answer to your problem... well I just don't have one.

You might have an easier time simply modifying the traits in question to give more stars.

The problem with give_trait is not actually with the trait itself. when you specify give_trait "Avluvsjulivs Germanorum" It doesn't recognize the character because of the Germanorum part; after he's beaten the germans.

No titles are recongnized. You always have to use the person's birth name.

My point was that if you modified the traits in question, you wouldn't have to use give_trait at all.
