Default Problem downloading fixes due to multiple RTW mod folders

    Greetings.
I have a problem, I will try to explain.
I have 3 differently named folders of RTW in the main Activision folder

    1)RomeTW1.2
    2)RTrealism
    3)Eurobar

In all a renamed and patched vanilla and...2 mods
In Eurobar there exists a file named EB (along with files Data Miles temp Docs
    preferences and saves)

In the EB there exists the files...custom preferences Data saves mp custom game
edu and sp game edu backup.

The fact that the download gets unzipped automatically (the rebellion fix) to the RTW folder
which technically I do not have ties my hands !!

Thus how do I download the fix and how and WHERE to I install it in my Eurobar folder
    (which is the EB mod)

I am following Kull's advice for Macedonian 199B.C CTD

    Thanking you in advance

Let me try to understand. You have 3 RTW instances, where EuroBar is your EB installation. Good, let's forget the two others, they are irrelevant.

You have an EB directory under EuroBar, with some folders inside. Good, that means you installed EB in the correct folder.

The fact that the download gets unzipped automatically (the rebellion fix) to the RTW folder
which technically I do not have ties my hands !!
Now this is harder to understand. Why would the download get unzipped automatically? Which RTW instance does it try to unzip into? One you don't have? This makes no sense to me.

I'll take a wild guess at your problem though... Did you choose Run when you downloaded the zip file, then unzipped somewhere and you can't see where it ended up? When you download the zip file, you should choose Save rather than Run. Then you can select its placement and find it again.

As for where you should unpack the file, it says in the instructions where you found the file:

I don't know if I can make it any more clear than that, but you should unpack directly into your EuroBar directory, not anywhere inside the EB structure.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

    Many thanks Bovi !

Perhaps I do not understand how the game codes work with files and folders...but I did the following and all is well.

I saved the fix and unzipped it ,noticed there was the (export_descr_buildings.txt) in the Data
file.Made copy of original and then copied and pasted the downloaded version.

Am I to assume I could have had the same results by copying and pasting the downloaded
(EBv81a_New_EDB) file somewhere in my Eurobar folder...my dilemma was where ?

    ex. Eurobar/EB

    or Eurobar/

    or Eurobar/EB/Data

Anyways the immediate problem is solved I would like to thank you for your prompt
    response...

Good that I could be of help! The export_descr_buildings.txt should be put inside EuroBar/EB/data, but the zip file contains a folder structure that makes your EuroBar folder the correct one.

Please remember to delete map.rwm now that you have changed EDB though, just search for it throughout your EB installation.
