Marians question

Okie folks, I have a couple Q's about the Marians.
1) From reading previous threads, I gather that the Polybian barracks will be damaged every turn now that I have gotten the Marians. I guess that means its time to tear down and rebuild, or upgrade if its not at L5?
2) I notice that every single province I have that is not a homeland suddenly got a basic marian barracks but its eems only half of them (mainly western ones) can recruit the vigiles. Not even my Greek ones can recruit vigiles, which seems odd. Is this intentional? I know it was mentioned that the Marian legions can only be made in Type2 govs or above, but my Greek provinces are Type2, so I'm confused.
3) I didn't modify the script, but I got the Marians before the minumum start time (172 BC). Mine occured in summer 173 BC. Is this good or bad?

1. Just got them myself. Just destory all your old polybian barracks*unless you want to keep some to retrain polybian units*, the script auto placed equal level marian barracks in your towns. Meaning if you had a lvl 5 polybian MIC in Capua, you now have a lvl 5 marian MIC there. I've actually only got them 1 turn before I had to get off, can't wait to start pumping out my new super legions.

I still have my camaillan barracks in Rome...I just love those hoplite triaris :D

Sorry, skipped over this, you can only get Vigiles in the West, in the East you get the levy hoplites.
