Keyboard Commands

Didn't there use to be a keyboard command like hold-the-shift-key and click on-a-unit-icon, that would send your camera instantly there? I am not talking about "move" your camera there, but "instantly" you were at that units point of view.

Maybe it was a Shogun thing, or went away in a patch or something?

I agree Tomi, for long distances You loose much time till the camera arrives at the picked unit. In M2TW there is a "warp to unit at once" by doubleclicking the icon. You may loose Your orientation and it may take You worthy time to find out where You are.

But if You would have been the choice of camera moving to the unit or warp at once would be helpful. Skilled players could optimize their speed of moving their units.

An additional key-command couldnt cause any damage at all.

Not sure if they are any keys for it, but I know that after you have double clicked on a unit, you can hit one of the arrow keys or move the cursor to the screen edges and the camera will then instanly move to the selected unit.

Great CBR, You are right. I wonder I never hit it in accident while playing for years.

That's a "secret weapon" now until it becomes public. ;-)) It will save a lot of time in fast action movements. In a 4v4 for e.g., when my inf holds the line and my cav have to move a long way to another flank with my allies, I often have to switch between my inf and my cav.

Hahahah,

yes Kalle and Judgee, I know I am still a noob

But all those who already were afraid of my army and its movings, ....

will now have to learn how my forces will be faster in spreading fear and pain.
