QUESTIONS on game I need answering

Hi all. I've decided to reinstall RTW. I have 2 questions regarding this:

1) Im having problems installing the game. It keeps saying corrupt files and all taht after installing for a little while. How do I install it this never happened before.

2)Are there any mods to lessen the impact of squalor (revolting often can be annoying).

let's ansmer to your questions;

1) are you sure your CPU really understands RTW was uninstalled before ?
check in settings; add/remove programs, maybe some RTW ghost file is still here.

2) nope, there aren't
there are lots of mods to balance squalor the other way around though.
must-haves are Cherry vanilla pack, BugFixer, MercXpack and VBM
or, you can mod entirely the game using RTR or EB
