Help!!!

Alright guys I have been trying to install Rome Total Realism for quite some time now. I have Rome v1.5 and each time I try to install RTR nothing seems to happen. I have tried RTR Gold 6.0 and RTR Platinum is next on my list, but not sure which version is compatible. I am very confused cause all the install info I have been reading is talking about patch installs of 1.0, 1.2, 1.3 and so on, nothing seems to be clear to me. Is there some crucial step I am missing I really could use some advice!!!

You probobly do not have the correct version... check and see if you have the right patch.

These are the instructions for installation I keep seeing. I dont understand # 2. What is 1.0, and how do I get it? I have v1.5 for sure, so how to I install a clean version of 1.0 if I have 1.5? Or do I just install Total Realism 6 Gold?

1. Uninstall all traces of Rome: Total War from your PC.
2. Install a clean version of Rome Total War 1.0 from your CD-ROM.
3. Install the official Rome Total War 1.2 Update Patch
4. Install Rome Total Realism 6 Gold into your Rome Total War directory.
5. [Optional] Install the Music Addon (recommended)
6. Play!
