    Go to X:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign/descr_mercenaries.txt

    (make backup before changing or opening)

    Well I tried something and I put king henry as avaliable mercs in the british region and it worked any one has anymore idea??
    I think ill check if I can make the king availabe to recruit in custom battle and that will be much cooler then a regular generl...

    how is the unit name typed in exactly?

    Special unit from the Agincourt battle, most likely.

    i wish i knew the names of some of these units. the only ones i know of so far are the elephant rocketeers and the gulay gorod.

    UNpack the files and look in the Export_Descr_Unit file. The unit name is here, (the bit you want is in bold):

    That bolded bit is the name of the unit for all purposes relating to the text files and consle commands.

    i never used the unpacker but i was wondering what some of those odd units might be so can try to produce them through the cheat shell.

    so far all i know about is

    king henry

    rufus

    rocketeer elephants

    gulay gorod

    it would be nice to know if there are others. i dont think anyone has actually started making any list of significant size so far.
