Not only that it may not be a good idea as the new official patch may not be compatible with it or it may cause some kind of error. There must be a good reason they withdrew it.

nobody has tried tried to play multiplayer using the leaked patch yet?

I did a 3vs3 with some Celtiberos and two Chaos members, no lag at all, games a 1000 times better than it was before, infantry is actually useful, really changes the stlye that you play.
