    Default CTD Bactria 228

Hello everyobody let me start by saying that this mode is awsome, and I really enjoy to play EB, and I would like thank to everyone who worked on it, truely amazing job you have did. EB RTW is the best game/modification I have ever played.

Now to my problem I have EB 0.81. I am playing for Bactria, It is spring 228 in my campaign game and when I click on end this turn button it crashes to the desktop (after Romans finish their turn, and Saurometes began theirs).
However If I not activate the scripts It lets me pass by.
So I would like to ask if there is some way to safe my campaign (with scripts on)? And if not then I would like to ask what feautures will be disabled for my game (if I will continue to play campaign with turned off scripts) I guess that only four turns per year feauture will be gone and various script texts, am I right?

Here is link to my saved game

    At least I hope

Well, I will let you in on a little secret, I sometimes forget to activate the script and do so after a turn or two. No big deal, I can honestly say.

Others will be more technical here, but if it works that way, then save the game in the beginning of the next turn and THEN activate the script.

You like EB? Buy CA games.

Probably a AI city rebellion - 0.81a with the latest anti-ctd-patch on top of it should eliminate almost all of these ctd's. 0.81 by itself surely has more of them than 0.81a, and 0.81a with the even newer ctd fix on top of it is even better.

Thanks for replies and advices. First I tried to make some turns with scripts not activated (I made six turns) then I activated them and it crashed to the desktop (again with sauromates on turn).

Then I installed 0.81a version and Rebel city CTD improved fix, but it didnt helped there is still the exact same problem.

Now I probably will continue to play with turned of scripts for a while (I really dig my bactrian campaign).

And then I will began new campaign as a new faction. I like the new 0.81a Koinon Hellenion Spartan general bodyguards. So I will probably try them.
Or I will play as Arche Selukia (I really like the mix of eastern and greek fammily members portraits for Bactrian, Ptolemaic and Selucids factions, btw: how did you managed to do it? It was really a neat idea.)

After taking control of the Sauromatae faction, disbanding all units, cancelling all recruitment and construction, deleting all triggers from export_descr_character_traits.txt and moving all family members and diplomats in to the 5 cities it still crashes.

No idea whats causing it, just like those Hay-ctds.

Then this sounds like a unique CTD. I may get on it when I've chased down the Hay one.

I've finally gotten around to this one. Apparently we've inadvertently hit that nail in our of the other CTDs, it works fine for me with script enabled . Please install the permanent fixes listed in the sticky thread to avoid it happening again.

Now I am going to crash that selucid full stack wondering through my land. Thank you man I really appriciate your work.

Marku, please be sure to try the fixes in the sticky first. Then create a new thread and detail the circumstances more. Also post your savegame so someone can take a look.
