Because if you crack the exe and someone has lost there CD and want to play, you send them the modified .exe, and then no-one buys the game anymore as it can be got free. CA go off there nut and close down any mods in progress, lower the moddablity of all future games and BOOM no more EB mods ever. Be happy with what you have don't risk it fo little or no rason.
