I think the problem with TV shows is that they have a limited 'life span' in which they remain interesting to the audience. The producers always try to cram in as many seasons as they can to get the money, but often the quality suffers. 24 has become to repetitive and formulaic, Lost just became too slow and boring in the second season, Buffy had 'the college years', Prison Break stops being about a prison etc.Originally Posted by lars573
It would be better if they made shows with an explicit idea of the amount of episodes/seasons they would have to do, quality would certainly improve.
