EB does not install

I had instalation of RTW + BI and several clones of this game for various mods (EB was one of them). But I was experiencing weird crashes on strategic map. They occured sometimes once a hour, sometimes thrice to 15 minutes. And I had this problems with M2TW too. They alwas occured during my turn, never when playing tactical battles and never doing somenting significant - I just play on strategic map, moving armies, build things, exploring ancillariest, etc... and just - CTD. I had this issue since I installed RTW as I remember (2years ago if I remember) but it was not as much issue, because I never had too big empire. As I spent more and more time on strategic map, the crashes were more and more pain.

I tried everything short windows re installation, but yesterday I tried to uninstall all mods and delete all RTW clones. And then I manually deleted all traces of RTW and everything RTW related (RTW, BI, mods etc.) from registers using REGEDIT command.

then I reinstall RTW, BI - no problems. Then I tried to reinstall EB and it is just impossible. I can launch "EB081a-full.exe" and the installation begins, I can choose path where to install and everything lokks ok, the installation is executed, at the end, there is question if I wnat to read FAQ and so. but as I click finish and want to activate the game, the EB mod is simply not on my computer I tried to install it to various folders, I tried to download entire installation execute from your site twice (once from Torrent and once the normal way), but it is simply not working. If I try to click on execute again after said "installation" I have option to modify, repair or delete EB installation, but whatewer I choose, the outcome is the same, there is just no mod on my computer whatewer I choose. If I select to remove it and try to install it later, it si the same...

Could you take the following steps:
1) Open Windows Explorer
2) Go to your RTW folder you installed EB in - the one you selected during the install proces.
3) See if there's any folder called "EB"
4) If not report this, if however there's one then:
4b) Select your RTW folder
4c) Leave the Windows explorer running, press the "_" button, that one which makes your applications move to the task bar at the bottom of your screen
4d) right click the background of your desktop, go to "New", and select "Shortcut"
4e) Select "Browse", find the RTW exe in the RTW folder you installed EB in. Now the destination path could look like (note this is just one example, there are many other possibilities too):
"C:\Programs\Activision\Rome Total War\RomeTW.exe"
4f) Now add the following commands after the line you got by following step 4e) -mod:eb -nm -show_err
4g) Give it a try. If any errors continue to persist report those, and if not: please report this too.

If 4) results in "No EB folder - report this", then you could load the list of "Uninstall/Modify programs" found in the Control Panel, and see if EB is listed among them - which should not be the case. However if it for some reason is, then you may want to remove it using the "Remove/Uninstall" option and try installing the full installer (not the patch) of EB0.81a.

Thanks, but I solved it by System Restore.

Then I uninstalled/deleted all RTW clones and installed RTW+BI + EB without problems. Did not touch registers this time...
