Anyway..after pausing to rest my fingers...I have a question

please slap me if I am wrrong... but the structure of the skeleton.dat file seems to go like this:

a definition of the starting skeleton
a load of animation links for each of the animation sets stored in the IDX file
a definition of the next skeleton
a load of animations for that

and so on.

Can we change the starting points of the bone positions ( which must be in the bits of data between the bone names in the DAT file ) and actually see the change in game ?

I am assuming that the rotational changes form the IDX file will still be applied ...just to a new starting position...

I have no idea how the various hex numbers actually translate into real co-ordinates in a modelling program...but then I am just a humble polygon pusher
