    Smile Chasing Routers as Turks

Vanilla 1.1, playing Turks (last December) I only used all cavalry armies.

I never had a problem with chasing routers. In fact when I read about this bug I had no idea what people were talking about.

So what is it about the Turks that was different ? I also found the cavalry far more responsive than western cavalry that I'm experimenting with now. Maybe I was imagining it ? Nope I'm sure I was'nt, never seen this back then.

Now with FK or MK omg !... the hardest part of any battle is to mop up, clicking FRANTICALLY all over the map. Although it seems better with PureFixer than before.

    Just thought I'd share that.

Horse archers don't charge using lances. So you skip all the problem related to charge animations. They also don't try to hold a formation like other cavalry units, so you skip all the problems related to cavalry trying to get back in formation while chasing routers.

They are also fast and can shoot arrow at routers while chasing them.

    That's why they work better.

Cool. So what happens if you mod all the cavalry to behave like them i.e don't try to hold formation. I guess that would screw up the formed charge... then again as Kraxis had rightfully poited out back then even Hobilars can pwn if charged correctly.
