couldn't get flaming arrows and trebuchets to cooperate, but everything esle worked. impact dust clouds longer plus the puff by the cannon when it fires hangs out 3x longer.
no impact on framerate on my 7950gt... but your mileage may vary... I tested it with a full half stack as you can see in the screenshot. I lowered particles per meter on some projectiles, but seriously... you're potentially facing a lot of particles on the field all at once.
