Has anyone launched a successful invasion of Europe with the Aztecs? I'm making my own attempt, but it's slow going. I'm fighting in Africa, Spain and Britain simultaneously - Britain had the most armies thrown at it and fell first, Spain only has a couple but is ok at about halfway conquered, and Africa is having trouble. I took the Sub-Saharan provinces without incident but the Moorish cavalry is a pain, especially with just the one army I've sent there so far. I may have to send a Spanish army as backup soon.

The lack of any sort of cavalry, spies, diplomats, boats etc. is really hurting. I've gotten a few boats as mercenaries but no cavalry has shown up yet...too early, I guess. Britain was lucky enough to have a couple cities with the right size of wall to recruit soldiers but there's a lot of armies up there, and without horses to chase down routers decisive victories are hard to come by.

So, anyone else have experiences to share? Ideally I want to take over the whole map, but the thought of taking on the steppe factions is terrifying. Even with insane Aztec scary infantry, it might be too much.
