Making a new map

Hi everyone, I've been reading through the mod forum for a few days, but this is my first post, so I'd like to thank you all for some excellent tutorials, especially alpaca for his tools.

However, I have a request for a new tutorial please, something about editing or creating new maps, or at least please could someone point me in the right direction.

you can download the basic europe map mod, it's very usefull!
