Explanation within. Carthage is the only faction in the game that you did not edit victory conditions for.

I do NOT answer PM requests for help with EB. Ask in a new help thread in the tech help forum.

I just loaded up a Qarthadastim campaign in the 0.81a release. Everything related to victory conditions works correctly:
- The faction leader victory condition trait, listing all settlements required to fulfill the victory conditions, is present.
- Clicking the action button and then "?" brings up the advisor and, again, lists all settlements required to fulfill the victory conditions.
- While the advisor is up, the settlements needed to fulfill the victory conditions but not yet under Carthaginian control are surrounded by a flashing indicator.
My guess is, ArtistofWarfare, that you didn't start the script before you clicked the faction button and "?".

The fact is that we're clearing all sorts of stuff up here....I knew I wasn't the only one who would have some ??'s about this stuff. Turns out though, the EB team did absolutely nothing wrong...we just weren't looking for things in the right place.
1) Carthage's files are in fact included in the correct folder. They're simply listed under a different name than Qarthadastim or whatever it is.
2) Yes...confirmed. For anyone who still doesn't know: After initiating the script (and no, I did NOT do that the first time Atilius) the faction details scroll and the advisor ? work just fine. Further, faction leaders are correctly displaying VC's.
3) Raiding targets are in fact showing up in black on the map. Working as intended.
Thank you very much guys...I'm glad this is all sorted out on my end, and apparently getting sorted out on others ends too. Once again, nothing contained in any of my questions turned out to be anything wrong with EB or it's files. Simply some noob issues
Added w/ Edit: Patience is my weak point Bovi heh. It's gotten better in the past few years, but it's still my worst trait...impatience that is.

There are some things in EB that are not so obvious for a new player, some of which are not widely advertised. Some are in the FAQ, but it's so full of stuff that quite frankly I haven't read the whole thing through. Maybe there'll be a full manual when 1.0 comes around...![]()
The FAQ is being completed and reworked as we speak.
Will be included in the 1.0 package.
