Thread: Megas Alexandros

    Default Megas Alexandros

    Megas Alexandros

Megas Alexandros will include two campaigns, released at two seperate times. One revolving around Alexander, starting in 336 bc and ending in 320, a what-if campaign.

Our forums can be found here.

The mod will feature many new units, a new map, many new and exciting historical battles, and a whole lot more.

We want the mod to be as historically correct and realistic as possible. Steps are being taked to show this, and to represent this on the battlefield, among other things, here is a preview of the new battle system being developed.

There are currently previews under construction, but here are the first two released. They will both be revamped soon:D.
Faction Preview #1: Kingdom of Makedon
Faction Preview #2: The Achaemenid Empire

This board will be updated quite regularly. Just watch and wait.

    Any feedback is welcome....

    Thanks,
    the MA team

    Holy sh-

I think you chose the right platform. Who know, you might even get some help from the EB team, if you're polite enough.

Souns good, just add a few units to Palahva, change the unit names and such (i'm assuming only alexander is playable).
Have the KH in the south, take the ma from eb, gie most thing to persia and go!
(Also take away the city walls for most places, if alexandr had to wait 3 months per city and could only march fromPella to Bysantium in 5 seasons he'd be alot slower)

Thanks guys. If we get enough support from EB fans, there might be in store a surprise for us

Nice idea, but keep posting in your own forum, makes stuff cleaner.
    Also I propose three campaigns.
    One-revolving around Philip
    Two-focus on Alexandros
Three-the Diadochi, starting whenever the Diadochi were really established.

Thanks for the idea. We are going to stick with the two campaigns, maybe the Diadochi campaign, although you can be sure you will see the three campaigns in MA2, hopefully for EB2

I have many doubts about the viability of this, but one of the things that would REALLY make this campaign awesome, especially with it ending so close to the EB timeframe, if there was a way to generate the starting map in EB from the results of your Alexandros/diadochi game.

All the activity is gone, and the links are dead. Shouldn't this be destickied?

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

    Dead?

I'll give it a day or two, then desticky (if nobody does before me).

I got a PM, this project isn't dead.

It appears that the links are dead. This is a great idea though - I'd definately try it out.

Shouldn't the links be updated then? This post doesn't really do any good the way it is now.
