Actually, Affirmative Action tries to desegregate minorities. They put you through colleges where otherwise only whites get in and all that, you know (and not necessarily because that they're white, but rather because only they can pay the price tag). Or jobs. You know. I posted a link only a day ago or so in another thread about "the first black guy in comics'" experience in the industry. A not altogether rosy story by the way.

The point of such things such as AA is an attempt to desegregate, but in fact it only segregates more. Read "Race and Economics" by Thomas Sowell, or any of his other writings. He is black, and a huge critic of AA.

And as I said, there is still more poor whites than blacks, considering the majority of the population is white not black.

Put very simply, because we discriminated them into the ground, and we need some discrimination to create a balance.

I understand where your coming from Ice. On multiple occasions i've heard black students call a teacher the N word and get nothing from it.
