Default adding "ist' - it' so evil

I realise it seems absurd, that by adding "-ist" to the end of an adjective that it could possibly make the word evil. But, it is being tested in NW (newsweek) and USN&WR (we will do anything that dubya tells us) as well.

Take this as an absurdity. Nothing more.

    Then consider... "IST"

First their were fasc"ist's", then commun"ists", then .... look back - and you will see the use of "IST".

Personally, at this stage of my life i find it all absurd. But, pay attention (to those that doubt me) and tell me in (SAY) six months their won't be more "ists".

"ISTS", being used " left'ists' (opposition is rightwing), liberalists (noticed this one 3 weeks ago in NW, but I am slow).

Thing is, it is a matter of syntax. It is a matter of phrasing a supposition in a manner that appeals or misleads those that accept anything that "their" political party says into being "their reality".

ist seems small, but consitor it.

fascist, communist, leftist, liberalist, antipatriotist, .... add an "ist" ... and make anything evil.

It sounds crazy, but I can't think of more than two good "ist's" maybe I'm just really tired.

Most lists are OK, though. I'm a socialist and it sounds better every day. It's the gists and the mists that get the short end: bigamists, meteorologists, sodomists.
