Default Sick Agents/A Little Medieval History Lesson, Please

    Dear Gang:

Good evening from Canada!! I hope this finds you and yours well. As for me, I could complain...yadda, yadda, yadda.

For openers, do I have any doctors in the house? I'm playing as Sicily when one of the town I sent my spy, Papero, into was suddenly struck with the Plague. I got him back on board the ship in what I hope was quick enough time not to become ill. I didn't work. I've now got a sick spy and admiral. Any suggestions, brainstorms, vague notions and/or brilliant ideas welcome here.

To all players of HUNGARY: I was playing as the Moors when I get this message down my screen. I open it and read that the faction that had been wiped out was Hungary.

My questions are: 1)Who wiped it out? (I suspect it was the HRE, but I could be all wet). 2)What year are we talking here?

Live long and prosper, take care and thank you kindly!!!!

    Sincerely yours always,

    Indy.

Count the plague as a blessing and start infecting every enemy city and army you can find
"I do not know what I may appear to the world; but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me." - Issac Newton

    1. It could have been just about anyone, the only way to tell, is to know who they were at war with before they were killed.
    2. They were wiped out the year before you got that message..
Still maintain that crying on the pitch should warrant a 3 match ban

    Hi Indy !

    1. You don't know who unless you witnessed it.
    2. In vanilla the game shows turns not years

If you want to change this:

    • Go to this file -> Medieval II Total War\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\descr_strat.txt
    • Right click -> properties -> uncheck the read only box.
    • Open the file.
    • Where it says "show_date_as_turns" add a semicolon to that line so it reads ";show_date_as_turns".

If you want to change the timescale etc go here for info:

    Cheers !
