I just got this game cheap. Im wondering if I should open it or sell it. It has an online mp mode and looks good but its more the style of age of empire than TW.

I have played AW:S and must say that it is so-so.
It is pretty much a standard RTS, resource and gather type of game.
That you create and customize your own troops is very nice but the choices are quite limited. That you can also take the dead enemies gear and use that to create even more unique troops is also nice.
But it doesn't have any real replay value so I can't see myself actually playing this game after I completed the campaigns.

No but I can imagine it being like Age of Empires and it's clones.

Not unless you get it mucho cheapo. It is a clone with a few minor tweaks, but the maps are tiny and the tweaks aren't enough to make it stand out.
