CTD when I place an army in a point of the map

I want to place several armies in different points of the map, but I can only make it with some units, , for example: I want to place two armies in the Punic Sicily, but I only can with some units, with other no. With this composition I can:

But if I add these units, when I want to load the campaign it Kick to the menu. Some units with those that it happens me : carthaginian infantry , carthaginian royal cavalry,... . These units work well during the campaign. Please, where is the problem?.

they seem to be valid names for vanilla RTW, so I'm not sure why that is problem if you spelled them correctly in descr_strat

do you have -show_err on shortcut? that should pick up typo errors...

were you trying to add them to bottom of that army? You need to make sure not to exceed 20 units...

Hello, friend!. It is strange what happens!. The error is this:



This also happens to other units as carthaginian royal cavalry, however, during the campaign it works well. In Lilibeo I have several units carthaginian infantry and it work well, but I cannot place it in the army. This only has 17 units, because I know that more than 20 it is hardcode.

It seems that by some reason the game is considering "exp 1 armour 0 weapon 1" as part of the name of the unit.

Try to check the spaces and tabs in descr_strat.

I think Monkwarrior has hit it, between the name and exp there should be a tab not a space. To check for spaces vs tabs open up the file in word and turn on formating characers (the backwards P on the tool bar) spaces will show up as dots, and tabs will show up as arrows.

I checked my descr_stat and there's a tab between the unit name and exp

Have you tied deleting map.rwm after changing stuff in descr_strat ? It helps. Sometimes changes don't have effect, but sometimes it does.

Delete map.rwm from base folder.
