i had problems with my computer last week and had to reinstall xp over my original version fix it. now it won't play sounds and windows media player says "There is no sound card
You either do not have a sound card installed on your computer or it is not functioning properly. If you do not have a sound card installed, you must install one before you can listen to audio in a digital media file. If you do have a sound card installed, refer to its documentation to troubleshoot the problem.

i do have a soundcard, but i dont think i have drivers for it as it's supposed to be on board sound? i really am clueless. any ideas? Thanks!
