settlement bug or not?

i dont know whether this has been addressed or not but here we go. SO FAR i have see this happening in settlement and is that after taking it over the repair tab doesnt show up so u assume thare´s nothing to fix but when u get to the battlefield all the gates are busted open. Any ideas about this? is it a bug or what? thx

i meant busted, broken like when u bash them down with the battering ram and not only one, ALL OF THEM

From what I've seen so far, any gates I break open repair themselves once I get control of the city/town, while any breaks in the walls stay. So if ALL the gates are "busted open", it's most likely what two posters have already said - an enemy spy was in the city, and opened the gates.

Yeah, that's what happens when their spy successfully opens the gates. The game just shows the "busted" gate thing.
